Winning is about competing with the best.

The Internet has a natural inclination to measure things.  All sorts of things. Including how you are performing.

So I have fun competing (mostly with myself), but also some friendly rivalry can be motivational.  It never hurts to have an accountability partner.  Leaderboards are of similar value.
